CERTAINTEED "SOFT TOUCH" DUCTWRAP

BASIC USE:

SoftTouch Duct Wrap Insulation is used to insulate rectangular and round heating, ventilating and air conditioning ductwork.

BENEFITS:

SoftTouch Duct Wrap Insulation provides thermal efficiency that reduces unwanted heat loss or gain from equipment and ductwork. When properly installed in the correct thickness, this product virtually eliminates condensation problems on cold duct surfaces.

SoftTouch Duct Wrap Insulation

COMPOSITION & MATERIALS:

SoftTouch Duct Wrap is a blankettype insulation composed of glass fibers bonded together with a thermosetting resin. It is available unfaced or with FSK, gray PSK or white PSK vapor retarder facing. On faced products, a stapling/taping tab is provided on one edge.

LIMITATIONS:

The product should be kept clean and dry from the time of manufacture through job site installation and system operation. SoftTouch Duct Wrap is suitable for use with most heating, ventilating and air conditioning ductwork operating at temperatures from 35°F to 250°F (1.7°C to 121°C) for faced SoftTouch Duct Wrap, and from 35°F to 450°F (1.7°C to 232°C) for unfaced SoftTouch Duct Wrap.

Crimped Pipe & Tank Insulation

Product Description:

A unique, flexible, continuous blanket insulation composed of variably-oriented glass fibers firmly bonded together with a thermosetting resin. It’s available with either a foil faced or a white ASJ vapor retarder facing.

FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

  • Economical - CrimpWrap is more economical than molded pipe insulation when used to wrap large diameter pipe.
  • Thermal Performance - Helps control heat loss or gain and provides protection from a hot surface during system operation.
  • Rigid Fiber Glass Board Qualities - Thermal and compressible properties of rigid fiber glass board, yet flexible enough to wrap vessels and large diameter pipes.
  • Helps Eliminate Strip Delamination - The continuous fiber glass blanket construction eliminates the potential for strip delamination common in traditional tank wrap type insulations.

CERTAINTEED CERTAPRO FIBERGLASS BOARD

DESCRIPTION:

  • Boards of resin bonded glass fibers in a range of densities.
  • Unfaced boards for use where an exterior finish will be applied.
  • Foil Scrim Kraft (FSK) faced boards provide a clean metallic surface finish.
  • All Service Jacket (ASJ) faced boards provide a white surface finish.

  • Where rigidity properties of a board product are required.
  • Adding sound absorption to interior spaces.
  • For exposed or non-exposed applications where a Fire Hazard Classification of 25/50 is required.
